ISM or I-S-M?
The name ISM or I-S-M represents the juxtaposition of two ideals. One or both could be right, or at the same time mean nothing at all. We see the world a bit differently at ISM. There is no right answer here; what works for us seems right and this is apparent in all facets of the brand.
In 2016 we set out to create timeless, classic t-shirts that appeal to everyone. Each season, we explore a specific theme in an overt way, using obscure elements within sub or pop cultures that feel right for the collection.
Each ISM garment is printed with reactive inks and put through an extensive wash process. The result is a unique and special product with a vintage feel that gets better each time you wear it. Each garment is made in a state-of-the-art facility in Mexico utilizing natural gas and the most up-to-date low-water dying processes and low-energy equipment. The garments are then printed and treated in New York City.
